I joined the gym almost a year ago and for the first five or six months I went 3 to 4 times every week. For all the time I spent (wasted) at the gym I seen no difference in myself and decided I needed to get some guidance.
I had seen Neil training other people and he had gave me the odd bit of friendly advice in the past so I approached him and booked myself in for a few sessions. At our first session I learnt a lot and that was before lifting a single weight. Neil talked me through my diet and the importance of structure in a training programme. After teaching me various different exercises he set up a training plan that sees me hitting each body part twice a week.
Having followed this program now for two months I feel fitter, stronger and I can notice a big difference in my overall shape. I have now put on almost a stone and that's not in body fat, my aim was to reach 13 stone and I'm almost there. I now spend only 45 to 50 mins in the gym were as before I would mess about for an hour and a half each time I went. I get a lot more out of my workouts now and enjoy doing them where as before I dreaded going to the gym.
