
When I started with Neil just over a year ago, I was just under 9stone, I always struggled to put weight on and at the same time I was going to the gym 3 times a week with no significant change in my body. I was failing to achieve my goal of bulking up. My body weight and shape was increasing slowly until I started using Neil as my Personal Trainer.
A friend of mine bought me a few sessions with Neil as she had seen the results he had achieved with others. I always enjoyed the gym, but after a few sessions I soon realised my enjoyment was because it was more routine for me than achievement. I am now 11st 7lbs. In 14 months I have gained over 2 stone. Others may say that should be no problem, but I was always naturally skinny. Neil’s advice on eating the correct foods and supplements along side training properly and lifting weights on the correct way has given me a body that I call "work in progress." In other words, I see the difference but I also see the potential. Neil constantly monitors my weight and encourages me in my programme and diet causing continuous change in my body shape.
I would never have lifted the weights I’m lifting now without Neil. I would probably be still 9 stone in weight and my time at the gym would be wasted. For a skinny guy wanting to be bigger, the satisfaction & achievement is fantastic, I can now go shopping and buy clothes that fit better. People comment on the difference in my body shape and along with all these benefits, it’s the confidence in me as a person that has changed the most. It hasn’t been easy, but to achieve something doesn’t happen overnight but working with someone who knows exactly what they are talking about makes it an easier and more enjoyable task.
